Time Donated to Charity Work

Geoff Williamson (Owner of I Repair Your Computer) has been Self Employed over 20 Years since 1998 working in the Local Area.  Time Donated to Charity Work, whenever possible.

By 2008 he realised that despite the fact that there were loads of Charities in Crawley there were still areas of concern that had not been looked at.

In 2008 he helped to create and run a Rotary Club known as the Gatwick Diamond Rotary Club whos primary purpose was to raise funds for Local Causes as well as helping raise funds for International emergencies.  Unfortunately due to lack of Members the Club was forced to close in 2015.

In 2008 he set up an online website Local Help Crawley to help those in need in Crawley who where not covered by existing Charity Organisations.  This is still very active online and on Social Media.

In November 2017 he helped to set up a Club for the Over 50’s known as Over 50 Skill Swap and Social Club.  The primary objective of this club was to help those over 50 who thought that they were a write off to regain their self esteem and once sufficient funds have been raised to apply to become a Charity.

Both Local Help Crawley & The Over 50 Skill Swap & Social Club are Members of Crawley Community & Voluntary Service (CCVS)

Working with other prolific fundraisers like Maria Hains  he has donated over 1,100 hours of his chargeable time worth in excess of £55000 since 2008 to help people in Crawley and surrounding areas and work permitting will continue to do so for many years to come.
